Hi and Welcome to our Website!
We have worked VERY HARD to make this a clean and appealing site to new moms and to people who are looking for a unique and fantastic baby shower gift (or just something for the new little one in your life). For me, this has been a labor of love, because the look and feel of the website had to reflect the care that I've put into developing the "right" tool for mommies and babies.
Pacimals are very special to me, because they are a tool that I developed for my baby and then perfected for you. Mackenzie (my baby) really loved her Pacimal, and as she grew I watched her use it differently through the different stages of her development. Initially it was just a pacifier “positioner,” I used it while she slept (not unattended) and when she rested in her Boppi®. Then as she grew and started holding it my pediatrician was excited about the Pacimals' ability to encourage Mackenzie to bring her arms "to midline" (basically together) which is the first gross motor development skill that babies develop. Later she was able to manipulate her Pacimal®, and she got excited when she saw it. Before her first birthday she started talking to her and moving its arms and legs as she "sang."On her first birthday, we decided to start the "weaning" process, and kept her Pacimal® only in the car seat and the crib (by now she was able to roll back to front and front to back independently so she was able to have her toy in the bed by herself). And now that she's about to be 2 we've removed the pacifier and she sleeps with her favorite bear.
The journey has been difficult, and filled with some pitfalls and mistakes, but one that I am so glad I have travelled.
Thanks SO much for checking in on us here at pacimals.com - I'll be posting something weekly, leave us a message and please come-back soon! Monica
